If you like the original set, please check out the kickstarter! We are working our way toward some larger models, like the fire giants.
http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1513061270/reaper-miniatures-bones-an-evolution-of-gaming-min?ref=home_locationShannon Stiltzhttp://www.reapermini.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8055167407407861889.post-80647209308463466562012-03-20T11:56:24.060-06:002012-03-20T11:56:24.060-06:00@ReaperBryan, For some reason I had that in my hea...@ReaperBryan, For some reason I had that in my head. But you're right; I looked over the ads and nothing was said about hardness.

The flexibility isn't an issue. I dropped the gnoll model and it survived nicely, unlike lead which may have bent the morning star.

Thanks for commenting!Jerryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16039318962064899079noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8055167407407861889.post-58131249008724542772012-03-20T09:03:40.881-06:002012-03-20T09:03:40.881-06:00I'd like to comment that we don't actually...I'd like to comment that we don't actually advertise them as hard plastic - we say in our forums that they're flexible to avoid breakage while dropping. The primary ad copy makes no mention of the hardness/softness of the figures at all.

Awesome review, though!ReaperBryanhttp://www.reapermini.com/miniatures/bonesnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8055167407407861889.post-12158423735068276692012-03-17T12:34:48.900-06:002012-03-17T12:34:48.900-06:00Putting the model into really hot water (not boili...Putting the model into really hot water (not boiling though) for a couple of seconds straightens the bent parts forever. It worked with Legendary encouter minis and with D&D miniatures. From what I've heard Bones are made of the same material so it should work here as well. I haven't tried it myself though.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8055167407407861889.post-1862157399846304622012-03-15T21:28:56.307-06:002012-03-15T21:28:56.307-06:00I thought so too. In any case, these plastics are just as good as metals and 1/4 the price. I hope they'll expand their range.Jerryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16039318962064899079noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8055167407407861889.post-78608800617389960932012-03-15T21:02:07.567-06:002012-03-15T21:02:07.567-06:00Those are pretty cool. It used to be plastic was the 'expensive' way of making minis.Roberthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01446782807978825841noreply@blogger.com
